Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of KappaForge. By accessing the platform or starting a trial, you agree to them. Last updated: May 1, 2026.
The service
KappaForge is an industrial intelligence platform ("KappaForge," "we," "us") that connects to your sensors, PLCs, and production equipment to provide real-time monitoring, equipment modeling, and AI-powered predictive maintenance.
Accounts and access
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Access is granted to the organization that signs up. You may invite team members within the limits of your plan. You are responsible for ensuring your team members comply with these terms.
Trial period
We offer a 14-day free trial on the Pro plan, subject to capacity availability. No payment information is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period your account will be paused unless you choose a paid plan. Your data remains accessible for 30 days after a trial ends so you can export it.
Paid plans and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly in USD via Stripe. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice to existing customers. Invoices are available on Enterprise plans by request.
Payments are non-refundable except where required by law. If you cancel mid-cycle, your access continues until the end of the current billing period.
Your data
You retain ownership of all sensor data, equipment models, and operational data you connect to KappaForge. We process it on your behalf to provide the service. You can export your data at any time. Upon cancellation, we will make your data available for export for 30 days before deleting it from our systems. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
Acceptable use
You may not use KappaForge to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other customers' data or our infrastructure.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or resell the platform without written permission.
- Introduce malware or conduct denial-of-service attacks against the platform or any connected equipment.
- Use the platform to process data unrelated to your own industrial operations without authorization.
Uptime and support
We target high availability for the platform but do not guarantee a specific uptime SLA outside of Enterprise agreements. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. Support is provided via the contact form on this site. Enterprise customers receive a named Customer Success Manager and quarterly reviews.
Intellectual property
KappaForge, its software, and all platform components are the intellectual property of KappaForge. Your use of the platform does not grant you any rights to our software, trademarks, or technology beyond what is necessary to use the service as described.
Limitation of liability
KappaForge is a monitoring and analytics tool. It provides predictions and alerts based on data you connect to it. Maintenance and operational decisions remain your responsibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including production losses resulting from missed or false alerts.
Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. You can cancel via your account settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on the severity. Upon termination, your data remains available for export for 30 days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware, except where local consumer protection law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the platform evolves. We will notify registered customers by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
